Atlanta, GA - December 19: Max Calder, a 19-year-old practicer of Parkour, jumps a big gap in this time-exposure. Parkour is a physical discipline in which the participant, called a traceur, attempts to pass obstacles (usually urban) in the fastest and most direct manner possible, using skills such as jumping, vaulting and climbing. Though most traceurs avoid flashy uneccessary movements, acrobatics such as flips are often introduced for aesthetic purposes or simply to have fun, leading to different avenues to explore within the discipline. Parkour in its modern form was developed by the French athelete David Belle in the 1980s and 90s. (Photo by Andrew Kornylak/Aurora Photos)
